Invenergy Closes Refinancing For St. Clair Energy Centre

CHICAGO, Illinois - (September 3, 2013) – Today, Invenergy LLC (“Invenergy”)announced the successful refinancing of the St. Clair Energy Centre (“St. Clair”), a 584MW combined cycle, natural gas-fired energy generation facility in Ontario, Canada.
St. Clair Energy Centre is located near the town of Sarnia, approximately seventy milesnortheast of Detroit, Michigan. St. Clair is jointly owned by affiliates of Invenergy andStark Investments. The facility is operated and maintained by Invenergy ServicesCanada ULC, an affiliate of Invenergy.
Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Union Bank served as Joint Book Runners for thetransaction, with RBC acting as the Administrative Agent. Natixis, Bayern LB, andSumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, in addition to RBC and Union Bank, were JointLead Arrangers for the financing. Royal Bank of Scotland, Siemens Financial Ltd., NordLB, Helaba, and Mizuho Bank also were lenders to the transaction.
