Invenergy Wind has arranged project financing for its 21.15 MW Le Plateau 2 wind farm, whichis currently under construction in Quebec.
According to Invenergy, the New York branch of Bayerische Landesbank acted as the sole leadArranger, administrative agent and lender for the transaction. Financial terms were notdisclosed.
Le Plateau 2, located approximately 300 miles east of Quebec City, will be powered by 9Enercon E-92 wind turbines. Hydro-Quebec Distribution has agreed to purchase the project'soutput for 20 years.
Located near Invenergy's 138.6 MW Le Plateau wind farm, which commenced operations in2012, Le Plateau 2 is expected to be commercially operational in December.
