Invenergy Services: A One-Stop Shop When it Comes to Managing Power Plants
While Invenergy Services is best known for providing top-of-the-line operations and maintenance (O&M) services, the breadth of our capabilities and offerings is much more expansive. A previous blog post details how the venerable Invenergy Services organization came to be, and below, we’ll expand on how we built on this foundation to become a strong partner for utilities, investors, and asset owners that are seeking an owner-minded, managed-risk approach to asset management.
Invenergy Services is a one-stop shop when it comes to managing power plants. We got our start managing and perfecting our own projects, and we put our skills to work to ensure a project's optimal performance and maximize customers’ return on investment. Our teams are deeply experienced in handling regulatory and market compliance, landowner engagement, environmental permits and studies, and many other technical asset management responsibilities. Our teams also manage all financial responsibilities, including providing tax audits, managing settlements, and drafting comprehensive financial reports. In order to keep assets in top working condition, we offer professional engineering services such as performance evaluations, turbine health assessments, and end-of-warranty inspections.
In line with our deep expertise across all aspects of asset management, operations, and performance analysis, our innovative spirit and forward-thinking approach allow us to integrate any new technological advancements into our repertoire. For example, we were among the first to deploy batteries in the PJM market, and our cutting-edge drone program provides in-depth analysis of turbine blade damage or solar module issues. Our team draws on this knowledge to the benefit of our customers.
Our experienced professionals actively manage more than 11,500 megawatts of wind, solar, natural gas and energy storage projects throughout the United States, and Services’ Real-Time and Day-Ahead Energy Desks coordinate the distribution of this power to their respective markets and customers. Power is sold based on the forecasts of what a plant might need for the coming day, but these trades can also be reworked and recalibrated based on real-time fluctuations in availability and demand. Our Energy Scheduling and Trading Desks can help develop energy management strategies with customers and then deliver the method for executing those strategies.
Invenergy Services can be a valuable partner no matter the size of your projects or where they are located. We are an industry leader in production-based availability, and we are happy to put our expertise and experience to work to your advantage. We are confident we can provide top-of-the-line services for any aspect of renewable power production and look forward to taking on new and exciting sustainable energy challenges.
