Staying Safe with Invenergy Services
The name Invenergy is a combination of ‘energy’ and ‘innovation,’ but we know there is more to the name than just a clever portmanteau. Invenergy and Invenergy Services’ emphasis on innovation in everything is a driving force that is embedded in all that we do, especially when it comes to the culture of safety that keeps our projects going strong and enables our technicians to thrive at work each day.
Did you know, for example, that each Invenergy Services employee receives over 63 hours of training each year? Or that Invenergy Services has implemented more than 70 processes ideated and designed by our own technicians to mitigate onsite hazards and risks? From ongoing reviews of equipment and safety protocols to comprehensive at-heights training, we want our technicians to feel cared for and empowered to do their jobs well.
This year, Invenergy Services celebrates fifteen years of operations, and we’re enthusiastic to share what we’ve learned over the years managing our own clean energy projects in addition to those of our third-party customers. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing more about what we do to keep Invenergy Services employees and contractors safe on the job, including some behind the scenes snaps from onsite safety drills and a chance to hear a firsthand perspective on day-to-day life at our facilities, directly from our technicians.
Invenergy Services’ approach has allowed for a robust safety program of lessons learned and continuous improvement company-wide which has made for even more reliable clean energy projects as renewables play an ever-growing part in our shared future.
