Invenergy Honored by Goldman Sachs for Entrepreneurship – CEO Michael Polsky among 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs at 2015 Builders + Innovators Summit

CHICAGO (Oct. 21, 2015) – Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is recognizing Invenergy ChiefExecutive Officer Michael Polsky as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2015 at itsBuilders + Innovators Summit in Santa Barbara, California.
Goldman Sachs selected Mr. Polsky as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to behonored at the two-day event. An energy sector pioneer, Michael Polsky brings three decadesof industry experience as the founder, president, and CEO of Invenergy LLC. Invenergy is aleader in the independent-power industry in the United States, Canada and Europe, and is thelargest privately-held wind energy generation company in North America. Prior to startingInvenergy, Mr. Polsky formed SkyGen Energy in 1991, which became one of America’s largestindependent power companies and later was sold to Calpine Corporation. In 1985, he co-founded and was president of Indeck Energy Services Inc., where he led the development andfinancing of one of the first-ever portfolios of independent power generation assets. Earlier in hiscareer, Mr. Polsky held various positions at Fluor Engineers, Brown Boveri Turbomachinery andBechtel Power Corporation.
