GASPESIE–ILES-DE-LA-MADELEINE, Québec and CHICAGO, Illinois (December 12,2014) – Invenergy Wind LLC (“Invenergy”) and the Régie intermunicipale de l’énergieGaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine (“the Régie”) announced today that commercial operationshave commenced at their 21.15 MW Le Plateau 2 wind farm (“Le Plateau 2”) in Québec.
Le Plateau 2 is located in the Ruisseau-Ferguson unorganized territory in the MRCd’Avignon, Québec, Canada, approximately 300 miles east of Québec City. The projectfeatures nine Enercon E-92 wind turbines, with output purchased by Hydro-QuébecDistribution through a 20-year power purchase agreement.
The wind farm is a collaboration between leading North American clean energy companyInvenergy and the Régie, a coalition representing MRC’s and municipalities comprisingmore than 90% of the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine administrative region.

The facility is sited nearby Invenergy’s existing 138.6 MW Le Plateau wind farm (“LePlateau”), which commenced operations in 2012 and also has a 20-year power purchaseagreement with Hydro-Québec Distribution.

GASPESIE–ÎLES-DE-LA-MADELEINE, Québec et CHICAGO, Illinois (le 12 décembre 2014) –Invenergy Wind LLC (« Invenergy ») et la Régie intermunicipale de l’énergie Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine (la « Régie ») ont annoncé aujourd’hui que l’exploitation commerciale a débuté àleur parc éolien Le Plateau 2 de 21.15 MW (« Le Plateau 2 »), au Québec.
Le Plateau 2 est situé sur le territoire non organisé du Ruisseau-Ferguson dans la MRCd’Avignon, Québec, Canada, à approximativement 500 km de la ville de Québec. Le projetcomprend neuf éoliennes ENERCON E-92 et sa production est achetée par Hydro-QuébecDistribution aux termes d’un contrat d’achat d’électricité d’une durée de 20 ans.
Le parc éolien est une collaboration entre l’entreprise leader de l'énergie propre en Amérique duNord, Invenergy, et la Régie, une coalition de MRC et de municipalités représentant plus de90 % du territoire de la région administrative de la Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
