Invenergy Closes Construction Financing for Goldthwaite Wind Project

CHICAGO, Illinois - (July 2, 2013) –Invenergy Wind LLC (“Invenergy”) today announcedthe successful closing of construction financing for its Goldthwaite Wind Project(“Goldthwaite Wind”), which currently is in construction in Mills County, Texas.
Morgan Stanley acted as the Lead Arranger, Administrative Agent, and Issuing Bank forthe construction loan.
The project site is located just southeast of the town of Goldthwaite, Texas,approximately 100 miles north of Austin. The project is being constructed by BlattnerEnergy, Inc., with substation and transmission line work being performed by EPCServices Company. Goldthwaite Wind will consist primarily of 83 GE 1.7 MW windturbines; it also will incorporate three GE 2.5 MW brilliant turbines, which feature short-term battery storage.

We’d also like to thank our project landowners, Mills County officials,and the Goldthwaite Independent School District for their strong support throughoutproject development,” said Jim Murphy, Chief Financial Officer and Chief OperatingOfficer of Invenergy.
Upon completion later this year, the 148.6 MW Goldthwaite Wind project will generateenough clean, renewable energy to power more than 68,000 homes. The electricityproduced by the facility will be sold into the wholesale markets managed by the ElectricReliability Council of Texas (“ERCOT”).
Invenergy owns and operates five other wind energy generation projects in Texas.Once Goldthwaite Wind commences full commercial operations, the company’sstatewide wind portfolio will have a total capacity of more than 830 MW.
