Invenergy Completes Project Financing For Gunsight Wind Energy Center

CHICAGO (Jan. 8, 2016) – Invenergy Wind LLC (“Invenergy”) today announced that it has arrangeddebt and tax equity project financing for its Gunsight Wind Energy Center (“Gunsight”), whichcurrently is under construction in Howard County, Texas.
Cooperative Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A., “Rabobank Nederland,” New York Branchacted as the Sole Lead Arranger, Administrative Agent, and Lender for the construction financing.
Invenergy’s Gunsight facility will have the capacity to generate approximately 120 MW of power from67 GE1.79 MW wind turbines when commercial operation commences June of 2016. Details on theproject output will be disclosed at a later time.
“We’re pleased to reach financial close of the Gunsight project and add to our growing portfolio ofwind facilities in Texas,” said Jim Murphy, Chief Financial Officer and Operating Business GroupPresident at Invenergy. “With the addition of Gunsight, Invenergy will operate more than 1,500 MWof power plants in the state.”
Gunsight is creating more than 250 construction jobs and eight permanent jobs once the projectbegins operation. The wind farm will further benefit its host community economically through annualpayments to Howard County and lease payments to participating landowners.
