Company attends Student Government Day at County Board SessionPortion of Invenergy’s annual tax payments benefit local schools
CHICAGO (Oct. 8, 2015) – Today, leading clean energy company Invenergy LLC (“Invenergy”)attended the county board meeting in LaSalle County, Illinois, and presented the community with acheck for $1.7 million. The check presentation represents 2014 in annual property taxes forInvenergy’s Grand Ridge Energy Center.
Invenergy’s Grand Ridge Energy Center is located on approximately 34,000 acres of private land inMarseilles about 80 miles southwest of Chicago. The 263 MW, state-of-the-art facility is comprisedof a 210 MW wind farm; a 20 MW solar project; and a 33 MW energy storage facility which providesboth energy and fast-response regulation service to the PJM market

Invenergy’s Grand Ridge Energy Center and provides more than $5.6 million annually in taxpayments, landowner payments and staff salaries. The company has developed a total ofapproximately 1,500 MW of clean energy projects in the state of Illinois, including nearly 900 MW ofwind and solar power generation facilities.
