CHICAGO, IL – On November 23, 2011, Invenergy Wind LLC (“Invenergy”) successfully closed a $200 million term loan financing by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Invenergy Wind Power LLC. Invenergy Wind Power owns equity and other interests in 25 wind farms that are operating or under construction.
The financing was rated BB- by Standard & Poor’s and was well received in the term loan market, as evidenced by strong over subscription. Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated acted as joint book runners and joint lead arrangers for the transaction. Latham and Watkins served as transaction counsel for the lenders and Winston and Strawn LLP represented Invenergy.
